huge numbers passed through Skye to-day including 200 over Glendale (AS). A total of 602 birds in 15 flocks were noted flying NW/SE over Uig (Dan Brown) Some 500 were also reported over Kyleakin (A&EH)and birds were also seen at Talisker (CL). A small group of 5 Pink-feet were on the beach at Staffin Bay (MB). Birds were still moving through in early evening near Uig and also heard in darkness over Kyleakin - clearly perfect weather for migrating. |
