with the current windy weather there have been several reports of grounded Manx Shearwaters from Mallaig, Glenelg, Kyleakin and Broadford. These are mainly young birds and advice is to keep them in a well ventilated box overnight and release them onto the sea in the morning - incidentally one was found grounded at the Cairngorm Car Park to-day. |
