- Charlie Phillips - Photographer
- Inverness based Charlie has worked extensively on Highland wildlife - has some stunning photographs of Bottlenose Dolphins - a regular visitor to Skye.

- Derek is one of our foremost wildlife artists, specialising in paintings and fine art prints of wildlife and the countryside.
- Tom Hodgetts Wildlife Photographer
- Tom is a young photographer who is based near Uig and we are keen to support his work.
ORGANISATIONS AND CLUBS
- RSPB Scotland
- The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Full details on programmes, conservation and membership.
- British Trust for Ornithology
- Official web site of the BTO containing details of current news and research.
- Scottish Wildlife Trust
- official site of the SWT - " a voice for Scottish Wildlife" - note there is a local members group on Skye - check events for details of activities
- The John Muir Trust
- charitable trust dedicated to the memory of John Muir guided by his charge "do something for wildness and make the mountains glad" - has ownership and conservation interests on Skye
- Scottish Ornithologists Club
- The largest and oldest bird watching club in Scotland with branches throughout the country. Nearest branch is Inverness with regular talks and outings details of which are shown in the events page.
- Scottish Natural Heritage
- Statutory agency with responsibility for providing advice and assistance on protected species and designated areas. Local staff based in Portree.
- Skye Environmental Centre
- stores local biological information and records and also home of International Otter SurvivalFund (IOSF) based in Broadford, Isle of Skye
- Highland Foundation for Wildlife
- wildlife charity dedicated to conservation and research currently involved in projects with Ospreys, Red Kites, White-tailed Eagles and Honey Buzzards
- Dean Birders (Disabled Forest of Dean birders)
- A project which was the result of two keen birdwatchers getting to-gether and wanting to share their hobby with those who have difficulty getting out and about. The site is full of birding information, of interest to all birders, disabled or otherwise.
- Scottish Raptor Study Groups
- There are ten area Raptor Study Groups in Scotland dedicated to monitoring and conserving birds of prey. Their dedicated website was launched in June 2006. The site was designed/developed by allroundsolid who are also responsible for the skye-birds site
- South West Ross Field Club
- the official site of a Lochalsh - based club with interests in Natural History, Archaeology, Ecology, Geology, History and Travel.
- Hebridean Whale Cruises
- The cruises out of Gairloch run by Nick Davies regularly visit waters around Skye, and have consistently turned up some of our rarer pelagic species.

- Recent wildlife sightings in the Glendale area
- Andy Stables is a regular contributor to this site and has developed a site for Glendale with regular updates on wildlife sightings in the area.
- Birds of Britain - Online Magazine
- The monthly web magazine for birdwatchers with a variety of features including a Guide, Gallery and News and articles of birding interest - has carried an article on birding in Skye and Lochalsh.
- Birding on Lewis and Harris
- a birding website for Lewis & Harris with updates on rarities and a photo gallery.
- Western Isles Wildlife
- a new website which covers many aspects of natural history in the Western Isles. Special emphasis on birds including recent reports. Provides details on a number of wildlife tours.
- Mull Birds
This site is especially for birdwatchers and for those with an interest in the bird life of the Isle of Mull and the surrounding islands of Argyll. The aim is to share and help visitors and Muileachs to enjoy the many birds on the Isle of Mull.

- This site is dedicated to the island of Pabay in Broadford Bay and is a super place for wildlife. The island also issues its own stamps.

- The Skye Riding Centre

- Loch Harport Gallery
