The crofting township of Elgol perches on the Atlantic edge and nestles at the foot of the Cuillin, the most spectacular mountain range in Britain . The house has an unsurpassed location and looks out to the Hebridean islands of Eigg, Muck, Rum and Canna. Whether you simply wish to relax and take in the scenery, enjoy a wide range of walks and climbs, bird-watch, whale-watch, or search for otters and seals, this is an ideal base. Boat trips operate from the village into Loch Coruisk in the heart of the Cuillin and a fast rib will take you on an exciting trip to Rum or Canna. We are also ideally placed to explore the rest of Skye and nearby mainland areas such as Plockton, Applecross and Glenelg, or ferry hop to Mallaig and the Inner Hebrides .
